What this website collects

This notice covers this website only. It does not cover your medical records at Magnum Hospital, which the hospital holds under its own policies, and it does not cover what you say on the phone or on WhatsApp.

The appointment form

If you fill in the form you give us your name, your phone number, the reason for your visit, the day and the half of the day you would prefer, and anything you type in the notes box. The reason you choose says something quite specific about your heart, so please pick only what you are willing to have read, and use "Something else" if you would rather say it on the phone.

It goes to the practice so that somebody can call you back and arrange a time. It is not used for anything else, you will not be sent marketing, and it is not passed to anyone outside the practice and the hospital.

The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this website, and submissions sit in Netlify's system until they are deleted. Netlify holds them on our instruction and for no purpose of its own.

Booking in the hospital's own system

The booking button leaves this website and opens Magnum Hospital's own appointment system. Anything you enter there is held by the hospital in that system, under the hospital's policies, not by this website.

Calling and WhatsApp

Tapping the phone number dials the hospital. Tapping a WhatsApp button opens a chat on the hospital's own WhatsApp line. Either way you are talking to the practice directly, and the conversation is covered by the hospital's policies and by WhatsApp's. This website neither sees nor keeps it.

The reviews on the patient reviews page

The rating, the count and the quotes on patient reviews are read from Google, where the reviewers wrote them. A reviewer's name is shown with their words because Google's terms require it. We collect nothing about you by showing them, and we cannot edit or remove a review: that is between the reviewer and Google.

That page used to carry written patient testimonials and deliberately no longer does. They named patients, their ages and their villages alongside what was done to them, and consent given years ago to a different hospital's charity programme is not consent to publish here.

Measurement

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It records three things you can do: tapping the phone number, tapping a WhatsApp button, and tapping the booking button. Sending the form is not recorded at all.

It records that those happened, never what you typed. Nothing from the form, and no name, phone number or reason for visit, is sent to Google. Google Signals and ad personalisation are both switched off on this site, so your reading of a page about a particular operation is not used to build an advertising profile of you or to put you in an audience.

How long it is kept

Appointment requests are kept while they are being dealt with and deleted when they are no longer needed for that. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months and then deleted by Google automatically.

Asking to see it, correct it, or have it deleted

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and you do not have to give a reason. Write to info@magnumhospital.com or call +91 81294 21212 and say it is about a website enquiry. If you are not satisfied with the answer, the Data Protection Board of India can be approached under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
